You think you're a Slythiclaw like Prof. Snape is? Go check out hybrid_elite, and put in an application at hybrid_sorting and find out! Severus Snape - Tainted Love
Hey Everyone! Sorry I haven't posted in a long time, I've been really sick. I hope you all are doing well sticking to your plans. I need to get back on my feet, then I'll get back to exercising. I thought I would post a "Thinspiration" video for everyone! Hope you haven't seen it yet!

My new plan to get svelte
So I am sick of feeling yucky and want to get back in the low 150's. Plus I want to actually make some progress for the Met's Biggest loser contest which ends May 3. I posted my plan in my fitness journal healthyrachael
Start Date: March 10 (because it is Remus Lupin's
1. Workout 5 times per week with 2 sessions of strength training.
2. Post workouts on healthyrachael
on Sunday. I will also post them in sweatie_sevie
3. Weigh in on Friday mornings.
4. Eat healthy foods to fuel my body instead of fulfill an emotional need. I don't plan to formally log. I want to make healthy eating choices regardless of what I have to write down. It should be second nature. I might log here just as I am starting out though.
5. Limit alcohol intake to once
per week. Post in here when I use this up.
6. Limit any kind of desserts to twice
a week. Post in here when I use this up. Desserts = ice cream, cake, candy, chocolate or anything high calorie and sweet like that. There is something to the South Beach Diet because I have noticed that when I eat less sugar, I generally eat healthier.
7. Post an evaluation fo how I met these goals every Friday when posting weigh in.
Ultimately I would love to be about 155 lb by May 3. I am about a size 12 now and I would like to be a 10. I promise to stick to this from March 10 until May 3 at the very least
. I don't want to be lazy and fall off the wagon because work is stressful or school is crazy. I feel and perform better when I am healthy.
So there. Hold me to it, Professor Snape.

I am still sick. So far I have only made it to work out on Monday. I know I need rest, but I hate being inactive. I need Sev to make me a Pepper Up Potion.
The other not so good thing is that I think I am dropping out of the MS150 cycling thing. With going to Europe and doing review for the MPRE (which is March 11), I have missed the last 3 weeks of riding. On top of that, I was invited to my law school's annual gala which is the Saturday of the race. It will be a good networking opportunity and law students rarely get to go if they're not volunteers. I am still planning to train though. I just think it will be better for me to have my weekends to study and get through this last year of law school.

I just got back from my first jog in many weeks. I am extremely tired and am breathing hard, but still I did 4 full laps around my school in a bit more than an hour. I hope the knee injury doesn't flare up again, but all I can do take care of myself the best I can, right?
Since last post, I did floor exercises on Saturday night, and began to do them Sunday night before I was bombarded with unwelcome popularity.
Just an update on my exercise routine. Current Mood: Tired and Accomplished
Weekly plan and an idea
I lose 50 points for sleeping in this weekend and missing my cycling ride. We did between 35 and 52 miles this time. I am going to be really sore when I finally get back on the bike.
I took a half day off from work because I feel sick (just sore throat and achy), but I did ge my workout in before I decided I was sick enough to go home. Here's the plan for the rest of the week...Monday:

Earlier this year my friend sent me a link to this site that offers downloadable workouts for your iPod. It's basically a personal trainer and some music. We should splice together movie clips and make a Severus Snape iPod workout. ;)
